Clients scheduled to see our internal medicine specialist, Dr. David Brummer, should be advised that if you have been referred for a specific procedure by your regular veterinarian, your pet will be admitted to the hospital in the morning following an examination by our specialist. Once he has completed all scheduled admissions and examinations for the day, he will begin conducting the procedures based on the severity of the cases presented that day. As such, there is no way to determine ahead of time when a specific patient's procedure will begin or finish.
The only cases which are considered "while you wait" procedures are ultrasounds scheduled for 10:30 am.
Dr. Brummer will contact clients once he has completed his procedures for the day and advise you as to the status of the pet and his recommendations.
