If you have a pet that is not on either of the above mentioned lists, please contact us.  If we are unable to see your pet, we will try our best to refer you to a veterinarian that will.  For additional information regarding amphibian & exotic pets, please check out

Please contact us with any questions or problems that you may have with any of the listed species.  If you have questions specific to pet birds, please contact Dr. Edward Reiller or Dr. Stacie-Minnier Thomas here at OPVMC.

    Wildlife--Injured/Sick
Sometimes a good Samaritan finds an injured or sick wildlife (bird, bunny, squirrel, etc) and contacts us for care.  We are not equipped to offer wildlife rehabilitation, but will assist you to contact the appropriate wildlife agency to supply the appropriate care to the animal you have found and captured.  When necessary, we will treat injured and sick wildlife when the Wildlife rehabilitation agency authorizes such treatment or if no agency contact can be made and the animal is in a life-threatenting situation.  Uninjured wildlife that just seems lost is referred to the responsible agency for pick up and care.  Please call our office should you find any wildllife whether just lost, sick, or injured, and we will assist you determining the care needed.
