Internal Medicine Referral Appointments/Consultations Once treatment has concluded for the specifically diagnosed problem, it is expected that the patient return to the referring veterinarian. We will not see other pets, or the same pet for a different problem, unless there is an accompanying referral letter except for an emergency. Surgical Referral Appointments/Consultations Our boarded surgeon, Dr. James Fingeroth ACVS will see pets by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while Wednesday, he will conduct any surgical procedures. All cases either referred to Dr. Fingeroth or seeking a second opinion, require scheduling a consultation appointment first, during which the pet must be present. You may refer cases to Dr. Fingeroth by either phoning our office and setting up the appointment directly, faxing the referral letter to us or by having the client call to make the appointment as long as the referral letter is forthcoming. For orthopedic related information, please click here. In April of 2009, we welcomed Dr. Paul A. Kloc II who is board eligible and is studying for his board exam while he continues to work. Dr. L. Mark Hedges is available for emergency surgery as needed. Dr. Hedges can and does perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries as emergencies when our surgeons are not available or are already booked. He is available for community practice surgeries on Wednesdays. Behavioral Specialist Consultations Please call the office at 716.662.6660 should you need to refer a behavior case to our Behavior Team. Ask to speak to Cindy Mead, LVT. |
