AAHA Accreditation

Established in 1933, AAHA is well  known among veterinarians and pet owners for its standards for hospitals and animal health care.  Hospitals accredited by AAHA must meet and maintain very high standards.  We first received AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accreditation in 1962 and have maintained that status since.

OPVMC is voluntarily evaluated by trained AAHA professionals to ensure that we maintain compliance with standards and provide the best veterinary care possible. We are very proud of the fact that we are an accredited AAHA hospital member; approximately only 14 percent of small animal veterinary hospitals in the US and Canada are accredited AAHA members.   In August 2008, we received word that we have been reaccredited as continuing to meet the AAHA standards for practice accreditation.  We are very proud of our staff who have made this possible again!
