For all patients admitted to the hospital, OPVMC doctors will provide you with a treatment plan or estimate for the cost of care. While they do make every attempt to provide you with a summary of all recommended treatments, they are still providing you with an estimate - not your total cost. As can happen with any medical case, situations can change abruptly and measures must be taken on behalf of the patient which had not been foreseen and as such, not previously accounted for.
In these circumstances, the doctor will make every attempt to contact you with an update on the case along with an update to your initial treatment plan cost, allowing you to make an educated decision as to how you would like to proceed.
Deposits Required: OPVMC requires a deposit of 75% of the estimated fees when your pet is admitted to the hospital for any emergency or procedure and payment-in-full is due upon discharge of your pet from our hospital.
