OPVMC Referral Patient Policy

OPVMC requires all clients referred and scheduled to see our board certified internist, surgeon or behaviorist be referred by and  provide a referral letter from their regular veterinarian.  The letter may be sent via the mail, facsimile, or accompany the client at the visit.  

As a matter of policy, we will not schedule or provide preventative, routine care for a referred patient, or any of the referred client's pets. You can be sure that we make every effort to respect the relationship that a referring veterinarian has with the client referred for specialty services.
