Priority Laboratory Services-For Veterinarians Only!

Priority Laboratory Services for Veterinarians outside OPVMC is the same great laboratory service that OPVMC supplies for its own patients, but we provide it for yours!  Priority Laboratory will perform laboratory tests for you and your practice and get the results to you quickly.  You can be sure of the consistent accuracy of our results and quick turn around time, usually the same day if the sample is supplied in the morning.  The licensed technicians who perform the lab tests requested by you are the same staff we utilize to perform the lab work for our patients.  

Our Medical Director maintains supervision over the tests performed by Priority Laboratory as well as the tests performed for OPVMC patients.  The Medical Director is available to review results and field questions from the technicians who perform the testing of your samples.  This ensures the accuracy and consistency of results that you demand for your patients. 
 
To become a Priority Laboratory customer, please call Priority Lab at 662-2649 and set up an account.  Priority Laboratory services are available only to licensed veterinarians and the veterinary hospitals they are associated with.  Once you become a Priority Laboratory client, you receive an information packet with all vital information in one convenient spot.  You will also receive supplies for sample transport including transport bags, request forms, blood tubes, and transport media.   Once your account has been set up, you or your staff may drop samples off at our site or use our courier service for pick-up.

Our courier service is available to pick up samples from your location and bring them to OPVMC.  This service is available Monday through Saturday, with the first pickup of the day starting after 11am and second pickup daily after 6pm.  Samples returned from the first pickup are analysed during the afternoon the same day.  Testing on samples picked up on the evening run are completed first thing next morning, or for Saturdays, first thing Monday morning.  To schedule a pick up, please call Priority Lab before 11am to schedule pickup in late morning or the afternoon, or call before 6pm for an evening pick-up. 

Priority Lab will fax, email or telephone the results to you, as indicated.
