Dr. Susan Springer

Dr. Susan Springer is a native to Western New York. She grew up in the Town of Tonawanda and now resides there with her yellow Labrador, Reilly and his feline friends Toby and Tib.

Dr. Springer graduated from Kenmore East High School.  Her spare time in high school was spent in the pool swimming with the Town of Tonawanda Aquettes.

Her post-secondary education took her to RIT where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  She did some postgraduate work at University of Buffalo in behavior neuroscience.

In 1999, Dr. Springer graduated from the veterinary medicine program at Michigan State University.  She did an internship in the field of small animal medicine and surgery at the Michigan Veterinary Specialists in Detroit, Michigan.  Dr. Springer joined OPVMC in 2000.

Besides her love for animals, Dr. Springer can be found doing home renovations, and when the weather is nice you will find her swimming, canoeing, and hiking.
