Dr. Erin Klene

Dr. Erin Klene was born and raised in Manchester, NH.  She received bachelor's degrees in Biology and Animal Science from the University of Delaware.  Veterinary medicine seems to run in her family, as both her aunt, grandfather, and great-grandfather are (or were) veterinarians.

Dr. Klene graduated from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.  Her husband convinced her to relocate to Western New York and she started at OPVMC shortly after graduation.  She enjoys the hospital's unique blend of general practice and emergency/speciality care.  In her spare time, Dr. Klene loves to be outdoors, and enjoys soccer, running, biking, and hiking, especially when her family and dogs are along for the ride.
