Dr. David Brummer, DVM, ACVIM
Following graduation from Cornell, Dr. Brummer completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. After a year in private practice, he returned to Cornell for a two-year residency in small animal medicine. In 1991, he became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). As a Board-Certified internist, Dr. Brummer's practice consists primarily of internal medicine. This specialty includes diseases of the heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, liver, hormonal organs, and nervous system. Dr. Brummer joined the staff of Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center in 1993 and has found the 24-hour care and extensive diagnostic resources invaluable to the practice of his specialty.
