Dr. Susan Mercer

Dr. Susan H. Mercer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire.  She continued her education at Texas A&M University where she received a masters of science in Veterinary Parasitology.  Her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine was soon to follow at the Ohio State University, where she was named to Phi Zeta, a national honor society, upon graduation in 1990.

After working 10 months in a mixed Dairy and small animal practice, Dr. Mercer joined Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center in May of 1991.  Her area of special interest is in emergency and critical care medicine.

She is a member of the AVMA, AAHA, NYSVMS-Western, and VECCS.
