We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do:

Provide emergency and critical care to a wide range of urgent and complex cases

Perform diagnostics and interpret results quickly and accurately

Develop and implement treatment plans with support from experienced technicians and specialists

Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and other specialty departments

Communicate clearly with clients in high-stress situations, offering guidance and empathy
What We’re Looking For:

DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school

Veterinarian Oncologist
We’re Hiring: Veterinary Oncologist
Full-Time | On-Site | Orchard Park, NY
$175,000–$225,000 | Sign-On Bonus up to $75,000

Located just outside Buffalo, we serve as a critical resource for both pet owners and referring veterinarians in the region.
We are currently seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join and expand our oncology team. You’ll work alongside our experienced lead oncologist in a collaborative environment with access to advanced diagnostics and a dedicated, skilled support team.
What You’ll Do:

Provide expert care in all areas of oncology, including diagnostic workups, cytologic evaluations, chemotherapy protocols, and rescue planning

Collaborate closely with our lead oncologist as well as specialists in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, emergency, and critical care

Guide clients through treatment options with empathy and clear communication

Offer compassionate end-of-life support and quality of life assessments

Board Certified Small Animal Surgeon:
We’re Hiring: Board-Certified Small Animal Surgeon
Full-Time | On-Site | Orchard Park, NY
$250,000–$400,000 | Sign-On Bonus up to $150,000
Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center (OPVMC) is a thriving, privately owned, AAHA-accredited hospital offering 24/7 emergency, specialty referral, and primary care services for small animals in Western New York. Located just outside Buffalo, we serve as a critical resource for both pet owners and referring veterinarians in the region.
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Small Animal Surgeon (ACVS or ECVS) or residency-trained DVM with the intent to complete board certification to join and grow our surgical team. This position offers a collaborative, team-based culture, advanced surgical equipment, and a diverse caseload in both orthopedic and soft tissue procedures.
What You’ll Do:

Perform a wide variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries with a commitment to excellent patient care
-
Provide emergency surgical coverage as part of a 24/7 emergency team
-
Collaborate with specialists in internal medicine, oncology, behavior, and critical care
-
Oversee comprehensive treatment plans with patient safety and comfort at the forefront
-
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, referring veterinarians, and colleagues
-
Support and mentor surgical team members, including LVTs and VAs
-
Participate in surgical case rounds and collaborative decision-making on complex cases
-
Utilize advanced diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and an in-house lab
-
Maintain detailed, timely medical records using EzyVet and SmartFlow
-
Pursue continuing education to stay current with evolving surgical techniques
What We’re Looking For:

DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
-
Board certification in small animal surgery (ACVS or ECVS) or residency-trained with certification intent
-
Valid veterinary license in New York or eligibility to obtain one
-
At least 3 years of clinical experience in small animal surgery preferred
-
Skilled in both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures
-
Excellent clinical judgment and surgical precision
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Interest in mentoring and teaching support staff

Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting

Proficiency or willingness to learn EzyVet and SmartFlow EMRs
